Testimonials

“As a lifelong hater of exercise and eating right, physical fitness was something I never dared aspire to.  Intended as a last-ditch effort, somehow Heidi and A Natural Fit immediately struck that elusive balance between challenging me and going at a personalized, sustainable, healthy pace.  There simply is no obstacle that Heidi cannot troubleshoot.  So apparently I’m not hopeless after all. And it doesn’t hurt that I look and feel about 1000 times better.”

Lexie (Cambridge)

“Training with Heidi has provided me with the structure, guidance and motivation I’ve needed to get fit.  She designs your workouts to be accommodating to your limits, but yet pushes you to do your personal best.  I’ve been training with Heidi for over a year now, and I can truly say that she has made fitness a way of life for me, rather than just a short- term fad.  Her friendly nature also makes workout sessions a pleasant experience rather than something to dread.”

Lalitha G. (Cambridge)

“I’ve had great results working  with Heidi.  Her enthusiasm and deep knowledge make my workouts not only fun, but highly effective. I have seen  major changes in both my abs and my arms  since Heidi devised  target specific workouts for me.  I’m thrilled with the results.”

Amy R. (Somerville)

“I have been working with Heidi for several years now.  She really listens and understands my long-term fitness goals, and manages to keep our workouts fresh and, dare I say, fun!  On top of being knowledgeable, she’s very patient and always in a sunny mood, even first thing Monday mornings.  I highly highly recommend her!”

Charlene N. (Arlington)

“I’ve been training with Heidi for three years.  I can honestly say that working out with Heidi is a highlight of my week.  I truly appreciate the fact that she encourages me to work hard while always being sure I do the exercises with the correct form so I won’t injure myself.  I love her sense of humor, kindness and intelligence and I genuinely feel she wants very best for me.”

Sylvia G.  (Newton)

I wanted the optimal workout for weight loss and I wanted a trainer to kick my *ss. Heidi delivers on both counts week after week with workouts that have enough variety that I never get bored. She always remembers my pre-existing injuries and monitors that we are not aggravating them. She’s totally invested in me meeting my weight loss goals, reviewing the week with me, strategizing upcoming challenges, and just being my cheerleader.  I’m getting a great workout which I expected but I never expected to have so much fun doing it!
I’ve also worked with Thomas a few times, individually and in boot camp. He also delivers an *ss kicking.
Not looking for an *ss kicking, don’t worry, Heidi will tailor the workouts to your wants/needs.

I have been working with A Natural Fit and their talented trainers for more than 5 years.  Heidi and her team have been instrumental in helping me change my lifestyle by exercising regularly and (trying!) to eat right.  I have lost weight but what I really value is their ability to re-focus my efforts and re-motivate me when I hit that natural slump every now and then.  They are also willing to be flexible with my schedule and make me actually enjoy all of the exercises I really hate to do but need to do!   They are always on time, show up with a positive attitude and are ready to push me when needed!  Heidi and her trainers are always encouraging of my specific goals and I would recommend them to anyone.  A Natural Fit has a lot to offer!

If you are looking for a great exercise coach “A Natural Fit” is for you.  Heidi is an excellent trainer and keeps my workout fresh and challenging while still aiming towards my ultimate fitness goals.  It’s amazing how she always exercises me right to the edge of my capability.

Heidi Reynolds is a terrific trainer and coach.  Very committed to her clients; supportive and encouraging, yet firm.  Knows her muscles and what’s good for different types.  Creative in finding unobtrusive ways to transform my livingroom into a ‘gym.’  My posture has improved noticeably, and I feel 100% better than I did before I began working with her.

Ann C. (Brookline)

Heidi is the best!  She is knowledgable and very understanding.  I am very pleased with my progress and highly recommend A Natural Fit to anyone who is considering their services.

Paul R. (Charlestown)

Exercise — regular, well planned, well guided — turned out to be the solution to my debilitating back problems. My thanks to Heidi.

Wheat and Inflammation

Wheat and Inflammation

So, one of my clients recommended a book called “Wheat Belly” by William David. It focuses on the inflammatory effects that digesting modern day wheat has on the body and the plethora of conditions it exacerbates. I just started the book and am also doing the gluten-free experiment on myself for a couple of weeks to see how I feel. I’ll keep you all posted. In the meantime, give it a look… http://www.wheatbellyblog.com Share...
